Tamper-Evident Audit Log

Every change to a time entry is automatically logged by the database itself — who, what, when, and why. Edits, deletes, approvals, locks, and unlocks all generate audit rows with user identity, timestamp, and reason. The log is append-only and immutable at the database level: once an entry is certified it cannot be silently altered, and any subsequent modification generates a new audit event with the captured reason. Even administrators cannot rewrite history.

When an auditor or contracting officer arrives, evidence is one click away. Pay-period CSV exports cover billing and payroll handoff. Sixteen-column audit log exports — available as PDF or CSV — give reviewers the complete change history with timestamps, user identities, and reasons preserved.
